Nullark publishes an encrypted recovery record with each supported deposit. Connecting the same browser EOA wallet lets the app request one bound unlock signature, decrypt matching records locally, and list available private notes. A Recovery note is an optional nullark1_... bearer backup that can be exported for the selected deposit plan. Anyone who gets it may be able to withdraw the matching private balance.

Choose a recovery path

Wallet recovery: select Connect wallet, choose the same account, review the private-balance unlock signature, and wait for the encrypted onchain note scan. Bearer fallback: after a deposit confirms, open Save recovery note using the Recommended control, then choose Copy or Download .txt. In Withdraw, paste that note into the nullark1_... field or choose Import .txt, then select Restore.

Export the confirmed deposit

After Deposit successful and Confirmed, open Save recovery note and choose Copy or Download .txt. The export belongs to that confirmed deposit; changing deposit controls prepares another plan and does not rewrite it.

Open the saved copy

Make sure the copied text or downloaded file contains readable text.

Move it somewhere safe

Keep an encrypted copy outside the browser profile you use for transactions. Avoid screenshots, chat, email, clipboard history, source control, and ordinary cloud notes.

Do not edit it

You may label the file beside it, but never change the text inside the note.

Recover with the wallet

  1. Open the same network where the deposit was made.
  2. Select Connect wallet and choose the same EOA account used when the recovery record was created.
  3. Approve the private-balance unlock signature only on the official app.
  4. Wait for the encrypted onchain note scan.
  5. Under Private balance, select an available note.

Recover with the bearer backup

  1. Under Private balance, paste the untouched nullark1_... note or choose Import .txt.
  2. Select Restore.
  3. Wait until the app shows an ETH available amount or a clear error.
Wallet-only durability depends on the wallet returning the same canonical signature bytes for the same request. Some wallet implementations may return another valid signature. Skipping the optional bearer backup accepts that recovery-availability risk.

If someone else saw the note

  1. Stop copying or uploading it.
  2. Open Nullark from a trusted device on the correct network.
  3. Restore the note.
  4. If the balance is available, withdraw once to a new wallet address you control.
  5. Wait for Withdrawal complete and Confirmed.
